Night Walk

Back in 1983, mu6ix and melody decide to go for a walk. They close the creaking door behind them. mu6ix puts on his Walkman which was playing Separate Ways by Journey. He shares one earbud with melody and they head out into the night. Melody nods approvingly to the track.

They are both laughing, telling each other jokes and reminiscing about the latest airing of Knight Rider. The night is so fresh and warm. Almost perfect.

Across the street, they notice people hurry past with a look of concern on their faces. Dogs were barking, children were screaming.

The sound of Church bells are heard in the distance with each strike getting louder and louder and darker and darker.

Suddenly, they hear a noise not from this world screech out into the night almost piercing their ears. The sky turns red.

Although they couldn’t see anything, they felt a presence of something and it felt like it was getting closer and closer.

They ran and ran and were being forced towards the church where the bells were still ringing out. mu6ix drops his walkman.

When they stop running, they find themselves at the end of a dark alleyway. At the other end were multiple sets of red eyes staring straight back at them.

The creatures get closer...........and closer...................and closer.

Then they stop moving.

The creatures gathered around the walkman trying to figure out what this little blue box was and why it was making this sound.

Noticing the creatures were preoccupied, mu6ix and melody knew this was their only chance to escape so they went for it..................
